The Company’s lead compound, NEXTERONE® (amiodarone HCl), is a novel, patent-protected, cosolvent-free form of injectable amiodarone, a leading antiarrhythmic agent for use in both acute and emergency settings. NEXTERONE was approved by the FDA at the end of 2008. Ongoing development of NEXTERONE will lead to a full product line comprised of ready-to-use premixed bags and a pre-filled syringe to address medication management issues in the hospital environment. Prism intends to commercialize NEXTERONE in the US market and partner the global rights to the product.

Prism is also developing PM103, a novel intravenous formulation of the antiplatelet agent clopidogrel, the active ingredient in orally available PLAVIX® (clopidogrel bisulfate).
